I get to wake up to you joining me in bed every morning, even if I have to wake up soon and leave you.
I get to meet you for lunch and do little things to (hopefully) alleviate even a fraction of your stress.
I get to experience little aspects of your life that make me appreciate your existence in mine even more.
I get to feel like I’m falling in love with you all over again, because this new chapter has me learning so much more about you.
I get to see my kid happy and finally comfortable and being more independent, enjoying life.
I feel healthier, like I can breathe again.
It isn’t what I thought it would be.
It’s kind of better.
